Welcome to SheRide. These Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) govern your
access and use of the
SheRide website and mobile application (collectively referred to as the “Platform”). By
accessing, browsing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with these T&C. If you do
not agree, please do not use the Platform.
- Eligibility
- The Platform is intended solely for users who are 18 years of age or older.
By
using
the Platform, you represent that you are of legal age to enter into a binding
agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
- The services of SheRide are exclusively for women customers. Any
misrepresentation of gender during registration will result in immediate suspension
of account.
- Account Registration & Security
- To access certain features of the Platform, you may be required to create an account
with accurate personal details.
- You agree to maintain confidentiality of your login credentials and are solely
responsible for all activities under your account.
- If you suspect unauthorized use, you must immediately notify SheRide.
- SheRide reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts if false, misleading, or
illegal information is provided.
- Acceptable Use of the Platform
Users agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law,
including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000 and
relevant
provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
- Post, upload, or transmit any content that is abusive, defamatory, obscene, or
violates another person’s rights under IPC Sections 499, 500, and 509.
- Attempt to hack, modify, disrupt or reverse-engineer the Platform or misuse its
features.
- Collect personal information of other users without consent, as prohibited under the
IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data)
Rules, 2011.
- Intellectual Property Rights
- All content, design, software, logos, text, graphics and images available on the
Platform are the exclusive property of SheRide and are protected under the
Copyright Act, 1957, and Trademarks Act, 1999.
- Users are granted a limited, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform
for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
- Any reproduction, distribution or modification without prior written consent of
SheRide is strictly prohibited.
- Third-Party Links
- The Platform may contain links to third-party websites for user convenience. SheRide
does not endorse, control or take responsibility for the content, policies, or
practices
of any third-party websites.
- Third-Party Links
- Use of the Platform is also governed by the SheRide Data Privacy Policy,
which
explains how we collect, use, and safeguard user data. By using the Platform, you
consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
- Limitation of Liability
- SheRide shall not be liable for any damages resulting from:
- Unauthorized access to your account.
- Temporary unavailability of the Platform due to technical issues.
- Any virus, malware, or harmful component transmitted through third-party
links.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, injury or fraud arising due to
negligence.
- Indemnity
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SheRide, its directors, employees and
affiliates against any claims, liabilities or expenses arising out of your use of
the
Platform, violation of these T&C or infringement of any rights of a third party.
- Modifications to Terms
- SheRide reserves the right to modify these T&C at any time. Updates will be posted
on this page with the revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform after
changes implies acceptance.
- Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- These T&C are governed by the laws of India.
- Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of
Hyderabad,
Telangana.
